Permaculture Design Course. 2014

In 2014 I took part in a three month Permaculture Design Course, led by Geoff Lawton of the Permaculture Research Institute. Permaculture is a system of agricultural and social design principles centred around simulating or directly utilising the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems.

The course culminated in a final design project which focused on the redesign of an existing site using the principles of Permaculture. As part of this exercise I chose to examine a residential property in New Delhi and propose a strategy to convert the arid land into a fertile ecosystem that could provide an abundance of food to the residents and surrounding community.
